Dr. William Boothe has the hand of a master.
People have so many opinions. I listened to many friends and family members who gave me their advice about laser eye surgery. Many of my friends had successful stories with great results. Other worried about my decision to undergo treatment with laser. Yes, I read online on different message boards about doctors and knew all the steps which will be performed during my laser eye surgery. From all of the different laser options I liked the IntraLastik method. I read that the recovery period is faster and there are less postoperative complications. At various ophthalmology forums I talked with people who underwent laser surgery and who shared their impressions. They had treatment in different clinics in the USA but in my area most positive reviews were about eye surgeon Dr. William Boothe.
When I visited the center, I felt it was true, true and true. At the first consult, Dr. Boothe went over different details of the treatment. For example, he explained what kind of laser (intralase) will be used at my eye surgery and why it is the best choice in my case, what type of eye drops I need to use before and after operation, what I will experience during the laser surgery and the most common side-effects after having the laser procedure. To conclude our meeting, Dr. Boothe said that I can do the laser surgery on the day that I will feel ready.
I had enough time to think and analyze all the information which I received from Dr. Boothe. I consulted with my parents and friends and slowly I reached the understanding that I want to do the surgery with Dr. Boothe. Two weeks later I called the center and the counselor said that Dr. Boothe will be glad see me the next Wednesday. I am not going to waste a lot of time talking about the laser surgery itself because it was so quick and while it was going on I did not fully understand what happens to me. I recall just that after less than 10 minutes I got up and went with a nurse to a postoperative room where I fell asleep. Hhours later I woke up and was able to see the all things around me clearly and distinctly. Dr. William Boothe re-examined my eyes and said that I will have a great vision and in two days come for a follow-up in a couple of days.
I restored my vision so easily & quickly. Now I am glad to see how that the recent developments in eye surgery let each person receive a professional help. Thank you Dr. William Boothe. You have a very big heart and the hand of a master. I am very satisfied with the quality treatment I received and the honest communication with the center’s counselors and assistants.
